Our Saviour

We come to the Divine Service as those going to be served by God. Our LORD speaks to us through His Word, and we reply with our hymns and prayers. By the power of the Holy Spirit, His Word gives us what it says, namely faith that will gladly accept all the goodness of God’s love and mercy. These gifts include the forgiveness of all our sins, and as a result, eternal life and salvation.
